Caravan holidays in Wales have always been popular but never more so that last year when one attraction boosted the North Wales economy by £121 million.
North Wales is achieving an enviable reputation as the best adventure playground in Britain and not least due to the efforts of Zip World.

This company’s ingenuity in creating Europe’s fastest and longest zip wire has attracted many thousands of local, regional and international tourists.
Zip World will be expanding on its 3 adventure sites in North Wales this year. The company will also be developing their particular brand of adrenalin inspiring activities in South Wales.
Visitors to Zip World recently participated in some research which produced some interesting data. The average holidaymaker spends almost £1,000 on their break including food, shopping, entertainment and accommodation.
Almost 75 percent of visitors stayed for at least overnight in North Wales, often staying in static caravans, camping or in hotels.
Lonely Planet recently named North Wales as a “playground” for rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking.
Adventure sports activities generally accrued some £2 billion for the economy in North Wales in 2016. Zip World is certainly a talking point when people discuss North Wales and many celebrities have visited their adventure sites.
