Maybe you are one of the totally organised people who do their Christmas shopping in the summer, have your tree and decorations installed in the house by the 1st of December, and are now free to enjoy some Christmas traditions and activities with your family before things start to get a bit more hectic. You may be lucky enough to have Lodge or Caravan ownership in North Wales, on an extended season licence, where you can take a Festive Break at Your Caravan and have a relaxing time before the festivities begin.

Take breakfast with Santa – Bodnant Welsh Food, Furnace Farm Ltd., Conwy
Can you picture your child’s face when they realise they will be accompanied by a very special guest for breakfast? Come along on 13, 20 and 21 December, partake in one of the magnificent breakfasts, meet and greet Santa with a gift for the children, along with a photo opportunity. Timings are from 9.00 am until 10.30 am and you can reserve a place on the Bodnant Welsh Food website.
Elves’ Workshops – Bodnant Garden, Tal-y-Cafn, Colwyn Bay
Taking place each weekend from now until Christmas, visit the Elves and make a festive decoration for your tree, or enjoy some toasted marshmallows on the open fire. This is a free event held by the National Trust; check out their website for dates and times.
Christmas Party Night at Portmeirion Village
Celebrate with family and friends at a party night in the Hercules Hall, at the Portmeirion Village. Enjoy a memorable evening to include a Christmas party menu, a disco and festive crackers and tea lights on each table. This is obviously a very popular event, and spaces are filling up fast, best to make a reservation for one of the available, remaining dates, currently 11th, 12th, 18th and 18th December, according to their website.
Bodysgallen Hall and Spa – the Royal Welsh Way, Llandudno
If, after your Christmas shopping you feel that you deserve a break to relax and unwind, or maybe use this as a chance to drop a hint as an amazing Christmas gift from a loved one and enjoy a Spa day experience. With the use of the steam room, sauna and spa bath, the opportunity to have a hot stone massage, a facial or a luxury manicure or pedicure is surely reason to unwind and pamper yourself. They have various packages on offer at this time of the year.
