November Events for Caravan Park Holidays in North Wales

Static Caravan Park Holidays in North Wales

You may be spending a late autumn break or a long weekend at your holiday home at Golden Gate Holiday Centre during November when the weather isn’t guaranteed to be sunny and warm. Alternatively, you may be taking one of the late caravan park holidays in North Wales at a discounted price because the weather is not great. However, irrespective of the weather there are many off-site activities you can visit and enjoy. Don’t worry about staying in your caravan in front of the TV; put on your raincoat and get involved in one the many fantastic events taking place in the North Wales region.

Wales Rally GB – 12 to 15 November

Be a spectator at the final round of the FIA World Rally Championships, offering 19 special stages, a Shakedown event on Thursday and a RallyFest on Saturday at Chirk Castle. This RallyFest offers entertainment throughout the day, with Network Q National Rally entrants showing their driving skills on the slippery parkland roads around Chirk Castle; followed by a number of special displays and parades of historic rally cars and exotic supercars, including an amazing stunt show.

The Red Bull Matadors will put on a stunning air show above the castle, weather permitting.

Cardiff Winter Wonderland – 12 November until 3 January

Set on the City Hall Lawn, next to the Civic centre, try your hand at ice skating, an all-weather event for the whole family. Try a fun penguin suitable for an entertaining, great experience on the ice for children under 10 years old – (these penguins must be booked in advance).

See Cardiff from the top of the Cardiff Big Wheel, a 10-minute ride, which stands as high as 3 double decker buses. See if you can spot the famous sights such as Bute Park, Cardiff Castle and the new Principality Stadium.

Royal Welsh Winter Fair – from 30 November

To be held at the Showground, Llanelwedd near Powys, the varied events range from the judging of home-made produce and handicrafts to horses, poultry and livestock in the main indoor arenas.

Go to see the Christmas Pavilion offering many varied stalls or the little shops in the Montgomery Pavilion where you can make a start on your Christmas shopping. Visit the Food Hall where the finest Welsh produce will be available for sampling and for sale.

Cariad Ink Tattoo Festival – 30 November

Held at Venue Cymru, this is a totally different type of festival; if you are interested in body ink and tattoos it’s definitely the place for you.

Conwy Half Marathon – 22 November

Be in with a chance to win a cash prize and enter this scenic half marathon, starting from the Quay near the castle, passing through Deganwy and Llandudno, and then returning to the finish line at the castle. If you wish to take part you will need to reserve a place.

Whatever you decide to do, the weather should never be a reason to spoil caravan park holidays in North Wales. There is still plenty to keep you busy at Golden Gate Holiday Centre, with indoor amusements, gaming areas and a play area for the younger family members; check out our park facilities.
