Anglesey Oyster & Shellfish Welsh Produce Festival, Treardur Bay, Anglesey

10th & 11th October – This Festival began so that islanders could feast on oysters and wash them down with copious amounts of alcohol but over the years it has become a massive event attracting thousands of tourists, holidaymakers and locals.
As well as oysters, a wide variety of Welsh food is on offer with producers from in and around the area selling their wares. In addition, there are cookery demonstrations that you can watch whilst drinking a glass of wine, beer or other beverage obtained from the drinks companies in attendance. There are competitions that you can enter whilst enjoying live music throughout the event.
